Long Night of the Stonemasons 2017

On a balmy summer evening in Vienna, an illustrious audience of customers, architects and interested parties came to SCHUBERT STONE in Breitenfurter Straße to watch the production of a pool edge and to try their hand at a sandstone block. During a guided tour of the entire stone center with master stonemason Thomas Schubert, visitors young and old were able to experience large stone slabs up close, enjoy the fascination of stone and then listen to a lecture by Dr. Michael Götzinger, a trained mineralogistThe event was rounded off by an interesting picture presentation entitled: "Granite - sandstone - quartzite (the cycle of rocks)". Styrian grilled chicken and cool drinks created a pleasant atmosphere.
