New reference: POOL WITH ROMAN ENTRANCE IN THE CITY APARTMENT
A private pool in the middle of the city? A builder fulfilled this dream on the terrace of his inner-city flat in Vienna.
Not only the location is exceptional, but also the design and execution of the pool. The entrance with its wide steps is reminiscent of the private baths of the imperial villas in Rome and lends the pool timeless elegance. The wide surround invites you to take a relaxing sunbath, and a waterfall wall provides cooling afterwards.
An exceptional stone for an exceptional pool
For the pool, the client opted for a blue-greenish-violet quartzite in a mirrored finish. The extravagant stone comes from Brazil and convinces with its unique structure. Our technicians and stonemason craftsmen made the large slabs with profiles to measure using CNC-controlled machines. The fine polishing of the stone was then done by hand.
Large quartzite slabs are true works of art from nature. Over the millennia, fascinating slabs with a unique variety of colours and extraordinary designs have been created. Due to its extremely high natural hardness, quartzite is extremely resistant and durable.
For the terrace floor, the choice fell on the hard limestone Levante Crema sandblasted. The popular natural stone is slip-resistant due to its rough surface and therefore particularly suitable for the area around the pool.
