HOUSE IN CARINTHIA INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR
The discerning Carinthian entrepreneur couple visited Thomas Schubert at the Stone Centre in Vienna to find the optimal coverings for all areas of this modern house. In the entrance area, a subtle striped, polished limestone was chosen to form a discreet background for the various furnishing elements. Right at the entrance, 2 humidifiers with wavy polished surfaces were built from coloured granites from a partner company.
Between the two stools, a cube made of the same granite was inserted as a side table. In the WC, 60x60cm technostone tiles were installed on the floor and wall. The staircase to the basement was made of steel and the limestone treads were inlaid on full-surface iron plates. For the strong red-brown floor, an original old, historic, hand-formed terracotta was chosen.
In the outdoor area, the sand-coloured Levante Crema in antique finish creates a great holiday feeling. The pool edge was set one slab thickness higher so that no dirt is blown into the pool. The 61×40.6cm slabs staggered in a half-bundle interlock and form the natural base for the dark brown seating.
The whirlpool stands on a subtle, beige, cloudy honed limestone that was also used in the WC with the red wall. The fireplace consists of the light striped limestone slabs combined with the strong granite of the indoor fountain.
