Single-family house in Vienna surroundings with stone, wood and tiles
During a consultation with our client at Schubert Stone, we used material collages to put together different materials and coordinate them with each other. Due to the linear architecture of the house, products were chosen that lend the house a certain cosiness. Cosy oak floorboards with a direct transition via the sliding glass door to beige technostone patio tiles. The floorboards lead via a spiral staircase directly to the upper floors, where the bathrooms and WCs have been fitted with Techno stone slabs on the floors and ceramic tiles on the walls.
Products used:
Interior:
- 165 m2 oak planks
- 22 running metres of wooden steps
- 32 m2 techno stone slabs for the bathrooms
- 46 m2 Ceramic tiles in glossy white in the bathrooms
Outdoor area:
- 35m2 Technostone for path and step slabs
- 180 m2 Technostein for terrace and pool edge slabs
The materials used here by SCHUBERT STONE harmoniously match the property, giving it a timeless interior and exterior. Due to the beige colour, the technostone patio slabs only become warm and not hot in the sun and can be walked on barefoot. The slabs have a fine-rough surface that is slip-resistant when wet. They are completely pore-proof, thus stain-resistant and do not require impregnation. The wooden floor was oiled after installation to make the surface resistant to dirt and stains. The anti-slip Technostein floor tiles in the bathrooms and WCs are antibacterial, acid-resistant and pore-proof, making impregnation unnecessary.
