Our clients and their projects
This satisfied customer tells why he chose Technostein inside and outside for his private house. Technostein is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, as this beautiful and noble stone is very easy to maintain. The areas of application are very extensive and manifold. The Technostein from Schubert Stone has all the qualities that a noble stone floor should have. Technostein is an extremely hard, artificially produced stone made of natural quartz and a certain amount of kaolin.
The unrivalled flexible stone is available in any colour and shape and can be produced and used according to any individual design wish.
Mrs. Fuchs-Stolitzka felt completely comfortable and competently advised when her terrace was redesigned by Schubert Stone. Despite some reservations from the outside, Mrs. Fuchs-Stolitzka decided on a very light-coloured natural stone. In doing so, she placed her full trust in the Schubert Stone company. The natural stone she chose now gives the terrace a Mediterranean style and makes the entire area really shine. Especially in summer, Mrs. Fuchs-Stolitzka appreciates the cooling effect of the natural stone and emphasises the pleasant tactile feeling when walking on the floor. Another advantage: the natural stone is slightly roughened and thus prevents slipping. In addition to the appearance and the high quality, Ms Fuchs-Stolitzka was also very impressed by the delivery and the service provided by Schubert Stone.
Marius Moser, architect and CEO of Moser Architects, tells us why he chose Technostein from Schubert Stone for his private home. Technostein is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, as this beautiful and noble stone is very easy to maintain. The areas of application are very extensive and varied. The Technostein from Schubert Stone has all the qualities that a noble stone floor should have. Technostein is an extremely hard, artificially produced stone made of natural quartz and a certain amount of kaolin.

This customer was looking for something that would stay beautiful for a long time. Natural stone is naturally a suitable product for this. The stone chosen was the robust Levante Crema hard limestone. The customer's requirements were, on the one hand, that the stone should visually fit into the overall concept of the house and, on the other hand, that it should be easy to clean. The stone fulfils both criteria and is also able to cope with frost in outdoor areas. In fact, the customer has not had any frost damage in the outdoor area to date.
The client finally decided to use the Levante Crema hard limestone from Schubert Stone in the entire living area, in the outdoor area, around the swimming pool in the swimming hall, in the bathroom and in the basement including the wellness area.
In addition to the use of natural stone for floors, stairs and terraces, stone slabs can also function as fascinating wall decorations. This is because every natural stone offers an individual structure, colour and also feel. The customer in the video was looking for large-scale pictures. After consulting Schubert Stone, she decided on two different stones. The first wall decoration consists of an assembly of two stone slabs placed one behind the other. This gives the natural stone the appearance of being "opened up" and creates an impressive image with a very individual character. The greenish marbled colouring also gives the wall decoration a somewhat cool, but definitely lively look. The second, smaller stone is in brown tones and has a rather warm ambience.
An entire flat was to be furnished with oiled walnut. Although walnut is a very noble raw material for parquet, it also appears very dark due to its treatment with oil. For the terrace slabs outside the living room, the client had already decided on a natural stone in a beige shade. The combination of the light-coloured terrace tiles and the dark parquet creates a visually unique interplay with the different natural products.
In addition to the service and personal advice on site, Schubert Stone was particularly convincing here with its large selection of natural stone terrace slabs and various types of wood for parquet flooring. In this way, the customer was able to make an optimal selection for the design of his interior and exterior areas.
Rotenturm Castle is considered one of the most beautiful historicist Moorish-style castles in Austria and dates back to the mid-19th century. The new owner, Prof. Heinz Schinner, confidently turned to Schubert Stone to help restore the property to its former glory in cooperation with the Federal Office for the Protection of Monuments. Prof. Schinner's wish was to apply large tiles in the representative rooms of the ground floor. Thanks to the competent expert advice from Schubert Stone, the owner decided on a reddish marble from Anatolia, the Levante Crema pink hard limestone with a patinated surface. This harmonises with the reddish material in the outdoor area and is easy to maintain. In the eyes of Prof. Schinner, Schubert Stone proved to be a very reliable and safe partner both in the selection and procurement of the material.
Roland Falb explains why he chose the visually sophisticated crystal marble from Schubert Stone. The light grey colour of the fine-grained crystal marble, similar to light sand, prevents outdoor surfaces such as patio floors from heating up too much. For Mr. Falb, it was important that the stone be light in colour and thus visually match his house very well. Crystal marble is a very noble natural stone that is suitable for both outdoor patio floors and indoor stone floors. Another highlight for Mr. Falb was the pleasant feeling when walking barefoot over this precious natural stone. The fine-rough crystal marble is therefore also particularly suitable for pool edges.
Hof Palace in the Marchfeld, a magnificent building near the border that belonged to the general Prince Eugene, made such a lasting impression on Empress Maria Theresa as early as 1755 with its spacious terraces and extensive estate that she took over the memorable building from Prince Eugene's heirs and had it run as the Imperial Festival Palace Hof. The splendour of bygone days lives on today: since its successful revitalisation in 2002, Hof Palace has been one of the most visited sights in Lower Austria: History of Schlosshof. In the ambitious cultural project, special quality and a sense of historical continuity in the design were the top priorities. In consultation with the Federal Monuments Office, Marchfeldschlösser Revitalisierungs- und -betriebsges.m.b.H. chose a special stone floor for the design of the arcade in the main courtyard.
Mr Kaswurm works in real estate and housing construction and came to Schubert Stone through the recommendation of a colleague. After visiting the workshop as well as the warehouse of Schubert Stone, he is particularly enthusiastic about the support and the selection of natural stone. About ten years ago, Mr Kaswurm had the Levante limestone laid for the first time and has been an enthusiastic customer ever since. He now regularly furnishes his real estate projects with natural stone from Schubert Stone. In addition to the quality and timeless appearance of the limestone, what counts for him is the fact that the natural stone can be easily supplied and used as required. Another plus point for Mr Kaswurm is that Schubert Stone is a well-known family business that delivers reliability and high quality, especially in uncertain times.
Alexander Nowak, CEO of designed4inspiration, tells us which three types of stone he chose for the outdoor area. For the coping slabs of the garden wall, Mr Nowak chose a travertine natural stone with bevelled edges. For the walkways of his property, Mr Nowak chose Brazilian quartz because this natural stone only reproduces warm tones.
Levante Crema limestone was used for the terrace and pool area. The Levante Crema antique lim estone brings a Mediterranean feeling to the terrace and garden. In the pool area, Levante Crema was laid sandblasted. Due to its fine-rough surface, it is considered particularly slip-resistant.
Mr. Kaswurm talks about the beginning of the cooperation with Schubert Stone. He looks back on a successful and extremely satisfied cooperation. Almost every object that Mr. Kaswurm renovates, he equips with a limestone from Schubert Stone. Like his customers, he places the highest demands on a natural stone. In principle, Mr Kaswurm likes to use natural stone when renovating bathrooms and toilets, as it is available in large formats and is also perfect for underfloor heating due to its feel. In addition, limestone is very easy to clean, extremely robust, sustainable, long-lasting and very pleasant to walk on barefoot. Mr Kaswurm reports how fascinated he and also his customers are by the liveliness, the charisma, but also the unique quality of the natural stone, and is of the opinion that no artificial stone tile can compete with it.
