Rotenturm Castle / Burgenland
Rotenturm Castle is one of the most beautiful historicist castles in Austria. It is located in the town of the same name on the Pinka river in southern Burgenland. After changing hands since 1924 and belonging to the province of Burgenland since 1971, the castle has been privately owned again since 2008 and was renovated by owner Prof. Heinz Schinner and his children in cooperation with the Federal Monuments Office. The aim was to repair the damage caused over the last 60 years and restore the building to its former glory.
NATURAL STONE FLOORS IN CLASSIC STYLE
In the prestigious rooms on the first floor, 400m2 of Levante Rosé hard limestone with a patinated surface in 61x61cm format was laid. The pink veining on the beige base tone matches the pink façade of the castle very harmoniously.
