Outdoor seating designed with natural stone
Relaxing, enjoying the day with family, friends or even alone, barbecuing, celebrating, eating together or simply sitting together by the fire - this is what most people associate with patios and gardens. In fact, patio and garden are a place of recreation that is always available and private, weather permitting. The recreational spaces we create for ourselves are unique and as versatile as our personalities. What could be more natural than to use a natural product that is as versatile and individual as we are? Natural stone is original, timeless and long-lasting. In addition, the different types of natural stone offer a colourful palette of colours, nuances and characteristics like no other natural material. From the design of terraces and paths to decorative elements, outdoor fireplaces and seating to stairs, walls and pool edge stones, natural stone can be used in a variety of ways.
Natural stone - timeless, robust, easy to care for
The terrace is probably the classic among the design options in the outdoor area. Especially on large surfaces, the colour tones, grains and veins of natural stone unfold their individual flair and speak their own language. From classic-modern to traditional-Mediterranean, many things are possible with natural stone. When choosing your natural stone, however, there are a few things you should keep in mind. Does the stone match the style of the house or the furniture? Is the natural stone weather-resistant and frost-proof? What about slip and fall resistance? How easy is the stone to care for?
In principle, almost all limestones, travertines or even crystal marbles offer the ideal conditions for outdoor use. The precious travertine Mandorla is particularly robust. Its beige-grey to dark brown coloured surface has fewer holes in the surface than other travertines, making it extremely resistant to moisture and frost. Dirt is hardly visible on the strongly coloured stone and keeps it looking beautiful for a long time.
Classic and bright - Levante Crema natural stone
Levante Crema is somewhat more classic and also considerably lighter. It is available in various surface finishes. This natural stone is one of the most popular patio stones because it does not heat up in the sun and is therefore always pleasant to walk on barefoot. In the sandblasted finish, Levante Crema also offers slip resistance when wet. Its light colouring perfectly matches the look of the garden and pool area and forms the basis for discreet or even fancy furnishing of your terrace.
Limestone Anthracite Nuvolato - modern and skilfully restrained
The limestone Anthracite Nuvolato is suitable for modern furnishing and gardening styles. This natural stone is also robust, weather-resistant and easy to care for. Its cool grey tones promise skilful restraint and make other elements such as lawns, gardens or furniture look noble and timeless. If you like grey tones but want to set clearer accents, stick to crystal marble. This natural stone also convinces with its grey tones, but they are somewhat softer and lighter.
Nocciole travertine is a stone declaration of love to the Mediterranean regions of Italy or southern France. The beige-brown colouring and the rough surface are what make this natural stone so enchanting. Not only as stone slabs for terraces, but also as stairs, wall stones and pool surrounds, travertine exudes its uniqueness.
