Original old limestone floors

Our original old, historic limestone slabs have been used as flooring for over 300 years. Each stone is a silent witness to history and part of European building culture. These old stone floors were laid in old churches, farmhouses, cellars and castles over 300 years ago. When buildings are renovated or demolished, the floor stones are carefully removed. Generations who have lived in these old houses have walked over them, creating a patina that is unique. This original historic limestone floor conveys a sense of well-being in every room.

From the living room and wellness area to the wine cellar, it is an exclusive building material. The worn surface of the stone slabs has been preserved in its original state and offers a lively play of colors. The slabs were originally hewn by hand and each individual slab is a different size and is laid individually for each project and laid like a puzzle. The thickness of the original slabs is around 7 cm. We saw off the surface from the underside to a thickness of 3 cm. This means that the slabs can be laid on screed with natural stone adhesive and also on underfloor heating. Over time, this elegant floor becomes more and more beautiful. It can withstand the heaviest wear and tear.
