EXCLUSIVE VILLA IN VIENNA
The client wanted a villa in the English country house style. Arch. DI Paul Richter studied the architecture of English architects of the 17th and 18th centuries and came across the information that the Italian architect Andrea Palladio (1508 - 1580) was the godfather. The suggestion of Arch. Richter was to look for Palladio proportions and solutions as "detour-free" as possible. This won him the competition for the construction of the villa. The demanding client subsequently visited the Villa Schubert in the stone centre several times with architect Richter in order to find the stone floors to match the style of his villa among various large-scale limestone sample surfaces.
In the interior, Levante Cream hard limestone in an antique finish runs through all floors. A historic frieze of marble mosaic frames the entrance hall. The staircases have a patinated surface with rounded edges. Stone mosaics were used on the walls in the WCs. The pool terrace was laid of frost-resistant Levante Crema in 40.4×40.6cm diagonal. In the gallery in the columned hall in the stone centre, the exclusive large slabs for bathrooms and sanitary rooms were carefully selected: Rosa Portugallo polished, Bianco Carrara polished for the shower in the parents' bathroom and the silk matt limestone anthracite on the floor in the parents' bathroom. In the garage, the abrasion-resistant and oil-proof Technostein in a matt grey surface in the 60x60cm format was chosen.
