Top quality porcelain stoneware
Technostein is high-quality porcelain stoneware exclusively from Schubert, which is more flexible in its application than any other building material. Nevertheless, it has all the qualities that discerning people associate with a fine stone floor: Technostein is an extremely hard, artificially produced stone made of natural quartz and a certain amount of kaolin. The composition is our "secret recipe". The properties of this composite material, which is as pleasing as it is powerful, can easily compete with any other building material: Technostones sintered at 1,200 degrees Celsius are abrasion-resistant and exceptionally durable. They are insensitive to acid and scratches. What's more: Schubert Technostein is pure and dense enough to repel even bacteria, and durable enough to absorb full sunlight for years and to cope with harsh cleaning agents. Technostein is completely allergen-free , 100% colour- and heat-resistant, absolutely stain-resistant and indestructible.
Modern style with techno stone
No lacquers or resins are used in the production of Technostein, and no lead is used either. These unique advantages of the unimaginably flexible Technostein make it the perfect material, e.g. in the wellness area at home. Technostone is, of course, the ideal candidate for an outdoor area designed in a clear, modern style, and its density and resistance to sedimentation make it perfect for pool linings.
