Belt parquet - floating or firmly glued installation
High-quality parquet belt flooring needs to be processed correctly. Belt parquet is a particularly appealing and also efficient solution: exclusive, carefully selected woods such as strip parquet oak in 3-layer construction is just as suitable for floating as for fully glued installation. And only from hand-picked pieces of the oak trunk can the best, large-format straps be obtained. Especially with belt flooring, the expert selection of a parquet and the perfect processing is crucial: intensive expertise and experienced craftsmanship in laying parquet flooring ensures a long and durable life of the selected parquet.

With this variant, the individual strips are firmly glued to the subfloor - offering the decisive advantages of greater freedom of choice in the pattern and excellent thermal permeability with underfloor heating. The simple replacement of damaged strips and the countless possibilities for combining them with natural stone floor coverings that match the parquet also speak in favour of this type of installation for strip parquet.
The alternative is floating installation. Here, the entire parquet consists of a surface that is firmly connected to each other but laid freely on the floor. Edges require skilful covering, but a floating wooden floor dampens impact sound and insulates well. The right choice of strip parquet flooring for the right living space thus shows clear advantages in terms of price in the long run.
